GaGaGO

GaGaGO Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

GaGaGO does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal data. Everything — child profiles, dates, notes, keepsake photos — is stored on your device. The app has no backend and never sends this data over the network. The only exception is Android's optional backup, described in §2.

§1

Who is responsible for the app

GaGaGO is created and provided by its developer (the "developer"). Privacy contact: gagago.mobile@gmail.com. Because data from the app never reaches the developer, the developer has no access to app users' personal data.

§2

What the app processes

The app stores, locally on your device only, in a local database and local settings storage:

GaGaGO itself never sends any of this anywhere — it has no server to send it to.

Android backup. If system backup (Google backup) is turned on for your phone, Android may save the app's data, including the database and files described in this policy, to your Google account and restore it on a new phone. This is done by the system under your phone and Google account settings. The developer has no access to that backup. You can turn it off or delete it in your phone or Google account settings.

§3

Photos and keepsake graphics

A photo chosen to create a keepsake graphic, and the finished, decorated keepsake graphic itself, are saved locally, in your device's storage, linked to that achievement — so you can view them again in the app, for example in the Album tab. The finished graphic also goes to the phone's photo gallery (into the "GaGaGO" album) or to the system share sheet the user picks. No photo or graphic is sent to the developer or any third party. Removing an achievement, or using "Delete all data" in Settings, permanently erases its photos and graphics from the app's storage. Copies saved to the phone's gallery are ordinary files on the device, and you delete those yourself in the gallery.

You can also optionally add a child profile photo shown in the app — it is saved locally, entirely optional, and can be removed at any time.

§4

Ordering prints and affiliate links

The app may include an optional "Order prints" section. It only shows a preview of the photo on your own device and, once you tap through, opens an external printing partner's website in your browser. The app does not send any photo or data there — if you choose to order something, you do so directly with that partner, under their own privacy policy. The link to the partner is an affiliate link: the developer may earn a commission on an order at no extra cost to you. The partner may set cookies in your browser to attribute the commission — this happens on their website, outside the app.

§5

Payments

The one-time Premium unlock is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. GaGaGO never sees, processes, or stores any card or Google account details — that data is handled solely by Google under its own privacy policy.

§6

Optional bug reports

If the app hits an error, GaGaGO may prepare a local technical report (error details, app version, device model). This report is never sent automatically. On the next launch, the app asks whether you'd like to send it — if you agree, your own mail app opens with the report pre-filled. You decide whether to send it, and you're the one who sends it.

§7

System permissions

The app may ask for access to the camera and photo gallery (to create a keepsake and save it to the gallery) and for permission to send local notifications (milestone reminders). None of these permissions result in data being sent to the developer or any third party.

§8

Your rights

Because data is kept on your device, you have full and direct control over it at any time. You can:

§9

Children

GaGaGO is intended for adult caregivers (18+), not for children. Child data (name, birth date) is entered solely by the caregiver and is stored locally on their device — GaGaGO does not transmit or share it.

§10

This website

The gagago.app website uses no cookies, analytics scripts or ads, and loads no resources from external services. The server hosting it may keep standard technical logs (for example, the visitor's IP address) to keep the service secure and running. If you email us, we use your address only to reply.

§11

Changes to this policy

If the scope of data processing ever changes (for example, a future networked feature), this document will be updated and the date at the top revised accordingly.
